Dyna Drug Gets ISO Certification, Proving Once More Its Commitment to Quality

Dyna Drug Corporation, a well-respected, widely recognized leader in the wholesale of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products and consumer and allied products, received recently its ISO 9001:2015 Certification from TUV NORD Philippines, Inc., a member of German TUV NORD GROUP, one of the world’s largest Inspection, Certification, and Testing organization.

TUV NORD Philippines formally awarded Dyna Drug its ISO 9001:2015 Certification (Certificate Registration No. 44 100 21 93 0031) on November 10, after the company passed its two audits, first conducted by TUV Nord Philippines on May 25 and then on August 9–10 this year. The Certification officially began retroactively on November 3 and will last until November 2, 2024—after which, Dyna Drug will be subjected to annual surveillance audits.

This certification underscores Dyna Drug’s unyielding commitment to quality as enshrined in the company’s Quality Policy, which states:​

“Dyna Drug Corporation is committed to go beyond distribution in our service to the general public by providing the highest quality of pharmaceutical and consumer products, in accordance with WHO Annex 5 Guide to Good Distribution Practices for Pharmaceutical Products and Annex 9 Guide to Good Storage Practices for Pharmaceuticals, in addition to other existing statutory and regulatory requirements. Our pledge is to fully commit to the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement in our quality management system in accordance to ISO 9001:2015 to the satisfaction of our customers.”

It also recognizes Dyna Drug’s vision of becoming a “leading entity in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry dedicated to providing our customers at all times with products of the highest quality possible”—all while “constantly seeking new and innovative ways to uphold our integrity, maintain our reliability and improve our core competencies.”

The ISO 9001 is the standard for quality management system, and it is being used by organizations worldwide to demonstrate not only their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, but also their capacity for continual improvement. The current version of this standard is the ISO 9001:2015—the same one Dyna Drug received from TUV NORD Philippines.

Dyna Drug was originally established in 1915 as a grocery named Dy An Trading. It transitioned to Dyna Drug Corporation only in 1976, and has since grown into one of the country’s leading wholesalers of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products and consumer and allied products.
