Huawei Watch Fit: My Indoor and Outdoor Buddy

The Huawei Watch Fit is a more fashion-forward wearable than a traditional fitness tracker or standard smartwatch, affordable and offers health- and wellness-related features.

The Huawei Watch Fit has a narrow elongated metal case design and the bezels are fairly minimal on all sides with a glossy finish. There’s also a flat button that can be found on the right side of the watch and function as an easy access on back/home button and can quickly access all your smartwatch data, workouts, features, and settings.

The Huawei Watch Fit has 2.5D curved glass all over and the metal used just gives it a very premium look. The watch sensors are all placed on the bottom of the watch, which has a smooth matte plastic finish to it. As for the watch strap itself is made out of hypoallergenic materials, and the width is just right – it isn’t too thick or thin.

The Watch Fit is also 5ATM water resistant, which means it’s safe to submerge in water up to 50 meters depth, so even you can safely wear it while swimming and shower with it on.

So now, I just mentioned some of the few design details that the Watch Fit has. It may look like an Apple Watch to you at first however this one has a pretty attractive-looking wearable that’s been comfortable to wear during the day, during exercise and at night and you can get it at a very affordable price.

This quarantine made me feel that this is the time to improve myself. Honestly I am still underweight but only 2 kilos behind. Some of my friends already noticed that I gained weight this lockdown and I am really happy about it. I really love eating but believe me I gained weight thru working out at home. Thank God that my personal coach before is my Huawei Watch GT2e, now that I am using the Huawei Watch Fit, it’s really comfortable and functions the same.

So how does the Huawei Watch Fit became my indoor and outdoor buddy? Waking up in the morning, I am cleaning and disinfecting my Watch Fit after using it overnight. Since we still limit going out, I am using it at home while doing house cleaning, working for my blogs/vlogs, and my yoga.

The smartwatch backs this up with an ample amount of fitness- and health-tracking options. It can track and provide real-time workout metrics for 11 professional sport modes (including running, cycling, and swimming) and monitor 85 custom workout modes (ranging from yoga, high-intensity interval training, belly dance, karate, to frisbee, and so much more). It monitors your real-time heart rate, calories, and duration of the workout. For outdoor runners, the built-in GPS helps you map your run.

The Huawei Watch Fit can tracks my heart rate throughout the day, even while asleep. For those whose heart rates exceed the normal range, it can alert you of this change. Unfortunately, if you are an Apple user, you don’t get the low heart rate alert and customize the watch face. For Android users, the Watch Fit and the Health app can also track menstruation cycles and estimate ovulation dates. It serves as a reminder when I’m getting my period so you don’t need to install another app for it, can definitely save memory space on your device.

Another thing is that this device can track my sleeping habits. With TruSleep 2.0, it promises to record your sleep state precisely and analyze your sleep quality. The app will show a detailed look into how well or poorly I slept and offer advice.

This quarantine also is stressful for everyone. Be it about work, health, schooling and etch. The Watch Fit can monitor your stress level. If you’re using an Android device, it can even alert you if your stress levels are high. The wearable also offers guided breathing exercises to help calm you down.

For the battery life, it can last for up to 10-days and it can be charge for 0 to 100% in just 50 minutes.

By the way, I only mentioned the features that are useful to me as my indoor/outdoor buddy and there are some great features that I haven’t mentioned in this blog.

Recommendation:

The Huawei Watch Fit is recommended for the budget-conscious fitness beginner or or fitness enthusiasts who wants to maintain an active lifestyle.
